Faculty Development Workshop on Learning Objectives and Types of Questions

Objectives:

It was aimed that, at the end of the workshop, the participants will be able to:

• Identify components of learning objectives
• Categorize learning objectives according to Bloom’s Taxonomy
• Design learning objectives according to Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy
• Design at least 5 kinds of objective type test items based on stated objectives
• Design at least 3 kinds of essay type of questions based on stated objectives.

Activities and Assignments:

• Framing objectives using Mager’s criteria
• Designing level outcomes using Bloom’s Taxonomies
• Designing objective-type and subjective-type questions
