The workshop’s prime objective was to equip 21st century teachers with Cooperative Learning Strategies. I have been well equipped by DET to put my entire curriculum of two subjects ‘Telematics’ and ‘Introduction to VLSI technology’ on the LMS portal of the University. This portal has enabled my Diploma in Electronics students to learn at their own convenience and pace. A term flip-learning could be used for this which is only effective if students are intrinsically motivated. To drive them for better construction of knowledge it becomes necessary to motivate them extrinsically and CLS certainly has capabilities to make it possible. So, flip-learning with CLS will shift a teacher’s role from ‘only a teacher’ to many diversified roles of ‘effective catalyst in learning’. After this workshop I became confident in planning my lectures of flip-learning with CLS.
